Stoupa is a sandy resort beach just north of Kardamyli, with shallow, calm water suitable for families and a seafront lined with tavernas and cafés. It is one of the few sandy beaches in the Mani, and the bay is sheltered, so the water is usually calm. The beach is well organised, with sun beds and umbrellas in some sections, and the village behind has shops, rooms and restaurants. It is a good place for a relaxed beach day and an evening meal by the water. The village is busier in July and August, but quieter in spring and autumn. Parking is available near the beach. The sea can become rough in strong winds, so check conditions.
